The Pop Star Portrays a Hell Version of Herself in Satirical Film First Look

The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a major film onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

Within the project, she portrays what she describes as a twisted version of her public image.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever encountered, the performer stated.

She elaborated in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept stemmed from the pressure to create one.

A Sneak Peek into The Moment

The initial preview, unveiled on Thursday, combines real clips from her live performances with imagined behind-the-scenes moments.

The mockumentary is helmed and co-scripted by her collaborator, who revealed that the story centers on a world where Charli made entirely different choices during the promotion of her hugely successful record Brat.

A Busy Film Calendar

The mockumentary is only one of several upcoming movie projects for the star, who recently appeared in three cinematic festival entries this year.

Additionally took on her own role in the Amazon series Overcompensating.

Upcoming Projects

Next year will also feature Charli alongside Olivia Wilde in romantic thriller I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in gallery suspense The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in scary reboot Faces of Death.

Additionally, she agreed to appear in Dakota Johnson’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.

Next February will also see the launch of the filmmaker’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will feature new music from Charli.

Additionally, she will create the soundtrack for the drama Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch soon.

The Moment is set to premiere on January 30.
