This young athlete maintains impressive social media audience
The young golfer can count on multiple well-known supporters when she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
The former president, someone who loves golf, owns multiple courses worldwide and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa practically suggested to go out there and have fun," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in only three events this year and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
However she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to play, relax, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge several the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that her participation exposes golf to new audiences, specifically among younger fans.
The young star boasts millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
